Lloyd’s Says It Has No Duty In $50M St. Vincent Qui Tam Suit

Lloyd’s of London shouldn’t have to help Huron Consulting Group Inc. defend against a $50 million whistleblower suit tied to Medicare and Medicaid overbilling at now-defunct St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers because its policy doesn’t cover government lawsuits, the insurer’s attorney told a New York state judge Tuesday.
